jFive days have passed since Sergio Rico, the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper, was admitted to the Virgen del Rocio Hospital in Seville, after he suffered a massive fall while riding a horse, an animal that hit him instantly.
The hospital unit provided a new situation this Thursday regarding the health condition of the Spaniard. And a hospital source revealed, in statements to the Spanish news agency EFE, that the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper is still in the hospital in the intensive care unit, “stable, within the severity of the injuries.”
The same source added that Sergio Rico is still “under the influence of sedatives and is under constant monitoring, and is being followed up by the intensive care medicine team and other specialists from the same hospital in a multidisciplinary manner.”
The Spain international was even honored by Sevilla in the Europa League final, proof that the Andalusians would triumph and later dedicate to the player who trained under the Sevilla crest.
