The sanitary train goes to meet the youngest
As part of the celebration of World Children’s Day, the Pediatric Service of the Centro Hospitalar do Baixo Vouga, with the support of the Municipality of Aveiro, will set up on Wednesday, June 1, in Parque Infante D. The initiative lasts from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Children will receive, in addition to other treatments, a passport and a certificate proving their journey on the sanitary train, from Centro Hospitalar do Baixo Vouga, and this year, in addition to children of CHBV employees, Students from the Escola Básica da Glória, from the Agrupamento de Escolas de Aveiro, will participate in the Vouguinha Express: O Comboio da Saúde.
The integration of healthy patterns and health education are the objectives of this initiative, which was conceived in such a way as to be able to cover other educational institutions in the region, and which had already been implemented, before the pandemic period, with the Escola Básica de Santiago.
