The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be available on May 12th and these final days of waiting promise to become the hardest to endure. Some players are so excited that they decide to head to the store door a few days early.
In New York, the Nintendo World Store will celebrate the arrival of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with a midnight launch and to prevent a crowd from filling the store, they have introduced an online system that allows for a pass to enter the store at 00:00 on May 12th and one hour later.
However, thanks to Nintendo Life, Alex Pekala shared on Twitter that a group of fans have already moved out to Nintendo World’s door to camp out and spend the last few hours waiting together. Even with the reservation system in place, they decided to go to the door the old fashioned way.
Alex Pekala was only able to get a reservation for 10am on May 12th, as the site crashed as soon as the reservation system kicked in, but he’ll be right there at the door watching others get ahead of him.
This is a testament to the magic fans feel about The Legend of Zelda series and how they intend to turn the arrival of Kingdom Tears into an unforgettable moment.
