YuA vegetarian family in Perth, Australia has sent a letter to their neighbor asking him to close the window while they cook meat, because they feel “nauseated and upset” whenever the smell enters their home.
Unfortunately, the neighbor may not have been as understanding as the family had hoped, as the message spread on the Internet.
The handwritten request was delivered in an envelope marked “PLEASE TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUSLY”.
Inside was a small note explaining the status of the Australian family. “Hey neighbor, could you close your side window while I’m cooking, please?” , they start to appeal.
“My family is vegan (we only eat plant foods) and the smell of meat makes us nauseous and upset. We appreciate your understanding. Thank you, Sarah, Wayne and the kids,” the text reads.
