Rumors about the development of Sony’s PlayStation 5 Pro were raised in March this year, by Tom Henderson of indoor gamesAnd now comes more news, that Sony is about to send its first development kits to production studios.
This new information reaches again into the hands of Henderson From Insider Gaming, where he said that the PlayStation 5 Pro is 100% real and that it is actually being developed and produced by Sony.
According to Henderson, the Japanese giant will distribute the first Dev Kits to its internal production studios in the coming months, and after this first phase it will distribute to the remaining studios.
“It’s just the beginning of the new hardware that’s coming to PlayStation users this generation,” says an Insider Gaming source, and another type of hardware is expected to be on the way, the PS5 Slim?
Sony has not confirmed any of these rumors, but certainly at some point we may have an official announcement of a more powerful version of the PlayStation 5, as happened in the last generation with the PlayStation 4 Pro. The target date for the launch of this more powerful version, the PS5 Pro, is at the end of 2024.
