Endurance racing with new features
Along with the career mode, players will find more detailed single races. Endurance racing now supports race save and replay features to give you more control and flexibility in every session, while Single Race and Time Trial game modes will be the perfect places to improve your riding styles, tackle different motorcycle classes and push performance to the limit.
more and more realistic
Cutting-edge technology will blur the game with reality – Technological improvements will fully exploit the capabilities of current-generation consoles and cutting-edge PC configurations, ensuring a stunning new level of realism and photorealistic detail that results in vastly superior performance and a true-to-life gaming experience.
Heat tracking
For the first time in the franchise, the Milanese development team implemented a dynamic weather system that calculates track and air temperature in real time to generate realistic weather change during races, adding a strategic dimension to the racing experience.
The sky system has also been changed, going from a 2D technology based on real images to 3D volumetric clouds, ensuring a more immersive visual result; Players can now see clouds change shape and react to lighting based on their density, creating stunning scenery.
Technological improvements also affect the bike’s physics, which have been improved in every aspect, from rider interaction with the bike to different pitch angle speeds for each class of bike.
Split screen and cross play
Online, players will be able to join cross-play lobbies on both console (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). Global leaderboards will push players to become the best drivers possible. Finally, at the request of the RIDE community, for the first time since RIDE 2, local split screen is back to allow players to challenge their friends side by side on the couch.
CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS FOR MAXIMUM LIFE – One of the pillars of RIDE 5’s design was the desire to allow players maximum freedom to live out their own cycling journey. The Race Creator feeds into this directly, allowing players to drive the competition and create unlimited scenarios, customize their racing and championship experience, choose what types of bike classes are allowed in competition, choose AI opponents and tracks, and create new race liveries. And even define the scoring system and rules.
While the fully immersive RIDE 5 experience caters to experienced riders, the new two-wheeled racing simulator will be able to tear up the track with ease. An improved suite of ride aids will smooth out the learning curve and help less experienced riders get full control of their bike. Tools like force-assisted braking, cornering, automatic steering and acceleration, trajectory optimization and many more will help players master even the toughest tracks.
Customize everything
Finally, with RIDE 5, players can express their creativity with editors who can create custom motorcycles, suits and helmets. Players will be able to share these creations online across multiple platforms, giving everyone access to creations from the RIDE 5 community.
