YuA young man from Monterrey, Mexico took to social media to explain why he changed jobs, and the “lesson” has already been listened to at least 340,000 times through TikTok.
The user, known as the “Chico Meme” on the platform, explains in a video shared at the end of March that he used to work in a shopping mall, and that he earned a commission. Thanks to what he did, Chico Mimi managed to raise a salary of 60,000 pesos, just over three thousand euros.
“When you have that amount of money, you don’t know how to manage it. At least, that’s how it was at my job. If you make 20, 30, 60 pesos a month, you can’t ride the subway. In addition, the user explained that his job has a high level of stress associated with it, and therefore he also decided to give up – to start working at a gas station.
According to the young man, his new job allows him to earn 3,000 pesos per week, or about 152 euros per week. However, the young man admits that he is content with his decision, and is fully determined not to return with the same level of stress his previous position required.
The story of this worker spread on social media, and most of them realized that the man was right in making this decision, because the stress of work is a very important topic. Many people agreed that it is better to quit a well-paying job if it does not bring anything positive to your personal life.
