Undertaker walked out at Survivor Series 2020, months after a cinematic match, the Boneyard match, against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36.
Since then, thousands of fans have been waiting for the “Deadman” to return to the ring for one last battle at the top of the WWE Universe, but that seems to be far from happening.
In an interview with Inside The Ropes’ Alex McCarthy, Drew McIntyre was asked about Undertaker, who recently praised him, and stated that he’d like to have a cinematic match against the WWE legend.
It’s amazing that [Under]Tucker said this because I’ve been bothering him for many years. Especially when I was younger and he was put in charge of me as my mentor and I drove him crazy with questions as the years went by I left the company and came back.
You have grown so much, we have become colleagues, we have spoken on the same level. It’s fine now, I can text him. Come on my friend, you can do it. We’ll do one of those movie battles if you want, I know you can do that if you want to.
The Undertaker was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year as the best name in the class of 2022.
