Several of football’s biggest stars have been shortlisted for the seventh annual FIFA Best Awards.
Three finalists in each category have been confirmed ahead of the ceremony in Paris.
Alexia Putilas and Robert Lewandowski took home the prestigious FIFA awards for best player and best male player respectively at last year’s event, while Erik Lamela’s goal for Tottenham against Arsenal earned him the Puskas Award.
After a year that has seen major slams in both men’s and women’s football, World Cup winners Argentina and Euro 2022 champions England can be in line for a trophy-filled night.
