theInstagram co-founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger are back with a new app called Artifact, a social network that aims to create conversations between users by sharing written articles.
The platform in question has a ‘feed’ of posts, which will be presented to users via an algorithm that takes into account the interests of each one. The launch was announced by Mike Krieger on his Instagram page.
Excited to announce that Kevin [Systrom] And I’ve been working with a talented team for the past year – Artifact, which is a custom post feed powered by the latest advances in AI. We’re letting people in gradually as we expand.”Krieger said, noting that those interested can now Participation to experience the platform.
Remember, Systrom and Krieger launched Instagram in 2010 and sold the app to Facebook (known as Meta, nowadays) for $1 billion (€918 million) in 2012. The founding duo ended up breaking up in 2018, with rumors of tensions with the CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
