Julie Bomagalski, a world skiing champion and two-time Olympic champion, has died. A 40-year-old French woman has been abducted by an avalanche in the Swiss Alps.

The tragedy erupted in the Yuri region early in the morning in Switzerland. Bomagalsky was abducted by an avalanche. According to “L’Équipe” his companion, mentor and lifelong Bruno Goodelli also died with him.
Helicopter services confirmed two casualties.
Bomakalski, 40, was a world champion and World Cup winner. He won the gold medal at the Snow Cross in 1999 and won the Crystal Ball in the 2003/04 season.
At the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, she placed sixth in a French affiliate. Four years later he repeated this decision in the same match in Turin, Italy. He ended his successful career in 2007.
Bomagalski was the granddaughter of Jean Bomagalski, born in Krakow, a French engineer of Polish descent, the famous inventor of the plate lift.
