sEtta Pereira on vacation in Cape Verde with her son and boyfriend. During these days, the actress had the opportunity to visit some of the most touristic places, as well as talk to the locals. On one of these occasions, the artist heard something that marked her and shared it with her followers on Instagram.
“Traveling makes memories, rejuvenates you, goes on an adventure, caresses the world, caresses your soul, becomes richer, it’s happiness. But I think it should be happiness for both those who travel and those who are visited,” he says.
“Yesterday in a conversation with Cape Verdeans in the center of Santa Maria, I realized that they were frustrated because ‘tourists are all locked in hotels and do not know our culture, our essence’… I was saddened by these words but above all by looking”He confessed.
He continues, “These people make their living from tourism, so the only advice I would leave is, if you get the chance, go to their restaurants, shops, pubs and street markets. It’s a big help to them.”
