a Holy Spirit Five more cases of monkeypox were confirmed. Thus, there are already 148 infected with the virus, according to the Monkeypox Bulletin, issued on Monday (06) by the Secretary of State for Health (Sesa). As of the last day 29, 141 people had already been infected in the state.
Of the current total cases, only 23 are women. Most of them are men. In all, there have been 125 positive tests among the males.

This week, Sesa accounted for 1,014 notifications. Of these, 769 have already been disposed. In the previous bulletin, there were 988 notifications, with 143 confirmed cases and 737 neglected cases.

Most of the cases were recorded in Vila Velha (42). Then comes the capital, Vitoria (39), and in third place is Serra (20). Still in the metropolitan area, Cariacica (16) and Guarapari (9) appear.
In the interior of the state, the municipality of Cachoeiro de Itapimirim has recorded 4 cases, Linhares 4 more and Itapimirim 2. The municipalities of Ibiraço, Nova Venecia, Pedro Canario, Santa Teresa, São Mateus and Vila Pavao account for one case each.
Symptoms and signs of monkeypox reported by patients
Patients with the following symptoms are considered suspected cases:
-hasty
Sudden fever
-Headache
-asthenia
-Sore throat
muscle pain
Gland enlargement
Sweating/chills
arthralgia
In addition, people with a history of intimate contact with a stranger and/or casual partner(s) in the last 21 days prior to the onset of signs and symptoms should be aware. See other important points:
1. There is an epidemiological link with confirmed cases of monkeypox in the 21 days prior to the onset of signs and symptoms;
2. History of travel to an endemic country or a country with confirmed cases of monkeypox in the 21 days prior to the onset of symptoms;
3. To have an epidemiological link with persons with a history of travel to a country or country endemic with confirmed cases of monkeypox, in the 21 days prior to the onset of signs and symptoms.
If these symptoms appear and when they fit within the restrictions set by the federal agency, the person should seek a basic health unit closer to their place of residence for care, notification, and investigation of the condition.
