The Secretary of State for Health (Sesa) issued this Tuesday (06) the new weekly dengue bulletin with 115 new cases in Paraná. In all, there are now 1,790 confirmations in 186 municipalities, 23,990 notifications of illness, 5,099 cases under investigation and three deaths (Foz do Iguaçu, Mariba and Rolandia). The figures refer to the current epidemic period, which began on August 1, 2022. Two imported cases of chikungunya have also been confirmed in Paraná.
“Sisa remains on constant alert with cases and deaths occurring in the state due to dengue fever. This week we are meeting at a major event in Curitiba with community endemic disease agents and managers to update strategic actions in Paraná,” said the Secretary of State for Health, Beto Brito.
The volume also released the sixth entomological report with data on building infestations. The index is the ratio expressed as a percentage between the number of positive characteristics and the number of searched characteristics.
