Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next installment in Ubisoft’s popular series, due in 2023, but there’s no exact date to put it on the calendar.
After recent speculation suggested it would arrive before April 2023, Ubisoft has suggested it won’t arrive until the next fiscal year, which starts in April 2023. Now, Insider-Gaming Progressing That Assassin’s Creed Mirage will release in August 2023 is the internal prediction currently on Ubisoft’s mind.
This already well-known source of unofficial information says that this date is the current goal of Ubisoft, which internally has already had to postpone Assassin’s Creed Mirage twice. With that in mind, the company prefers not to commit to a date and will only make an announcement when it is absolutely certain to do so.
The site’s sources don’t say why the game was delayed twice and don’t share development details, only offering that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is currently scheduled for August.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a smaller sized title, which will take us back to the roots of the series, where Ubisoft Codename Red is. This will be a game set in Feudal Japan, an open-world action RPG, on a similar scale to recent efforts in the series.
