Brazilian men live, on average, 7.2 years less than women, according to IBGE data. Health, more than genetics, is the result of healthy habits and prevention. However, in addition to not being used to taking care of their health, they have fewer medical appointments and preventive tests than women. Therefore, in order to promote the subject and educate municipal employees about the importance of early diagnosis of prostate cancer and health care, the Administration Secretariat promoted, on Friday (25), to hold a virtual meeting with specialists in this subject.

An example is app drivers who sit 12-16 hours a day and are exposed to various aspects lead to various diseases,” he explains.
Marcela Arruda, Secretary of the Municipal Administration of São Paulo, knows that it is essential to disseminate information about the importance of prevention. When we talk about prostate cancer, there is a lot of prejudice, fear, and misinformation out there. This compromises early diagnosis of many diseases and also prevents treatment,” he says. Marcella also highlighted that the management secretariat has been listening to suggestions from servers regarding server health in order to promote more aggressive measures.
The Minister of Health of the City of São Paulo, Luis Carlos Zamarco, highlighted some of the men’s health measures implemented by the Minister.
