A woman has given birth in a McDonald’s bathroom with the help of three temporary midwives. The case happened this week, in the United States, and the women received a gift for their bravery.
The story began when a pregnant woman and her husband went to a McDonald’s restaurant on Fulton Bluff, in Atlanta, to go to the bathroom and eat something. He didn’t have time for that. “While she was in the shower, she realized her water had broken and that she was in active labour.McDonald’s revealed in a statement. ′When she began to give birth, she screamed, which alerted members of the McDonald’s team as well as her husband. Three employees rushed to her aid and ended up helping her deliver a healthy baby girl.’
The three women who assisted in the birth, Shakiria Kaigler, Keisha Blue-Murray and Tunisia Woodward, were later considered by the manager to be “a great example of a team making a difference every day for customers but also for the local community” said Steve Akinborough, Store Manager
Considering this case “the epitome of a team well-being moment,” the manager decided to give each employee a $250 gift card to use for Thanksgiving dinner celebrations (which is celebrated today in the United States).
