In the Finance Portal, the IRS (AT) highlights the following Benefits of paying taxes by direct debit🇧🇷
- Stop worrying about the deadline for paying your tax obligations and thus avoid penalties and late payment interest;
- You no longer have to travel to pay taxes and waste time in queues;
- You know in advance the amounts to be paid, AT sends a debit notice to your account approximately 14 days prior to the date it is due, so if any anomalies are detected, you can always deactivate/change it. as well as checking whether the bank account is provided with the necessary amount;
- You can change or deactivate a previously authorized direct debit order at any time.
