The new “Style Edition” of the Porsche 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman offers a stunning and exclusive “design” in bright colors and harmonious contrast packages. This may be one of the last versions of the 718 before the end of its career, which began in 2016. The new generation, which will be launched by 2025, should be marketed only with electric propulsion.
One of the exclusive colors for the “Style Edition” is the Ruby Star Neo, a modern interpretation of the legendary Ruby Star used in the Porsche 911 Carrera RS (964). But there are other details that distinguish the new Porsche, such as the 20-inch 718 Spyder wheels in high-gloss black, with the wheel centers decorated in Porsche Crest colours.
The “Style Edition” also features a black sports exhaust and “Porsche” lettering on the rear in silver. On the 718 Boxster Style Edition, the word “Boxster” is engraved on the hood, above the side windows.
Contrast packages for the 718 Style Edition, in black or white, can also be selected at no additional cost. They include decorative strips on the hood and “Porsche” lettering on the sides, as well as painted wheels and a black or white rear label.
Inside, “Style Edition” models are equipped with a black leather trim, including chalk topstitching, illuminated stainless-steel door sill guards, and Porsche Crest embossed on the headrests.
Mechanically, the 718 Style Edition is based on the base versions of the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman. It is equipped with a 2-liter four-cylinder engine with 300 hp and 380 Nm, combined with a six-speed manual transmission, which allows you to go from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds (with the optional seven-speed PDK in 4.7 seconds) . The maximum speed is 275 km / h.
