The latest YouGov/Times voting intent poll showed Labor with 54% of the vote Wishesnine points above upload the previous Monday. Meanwhile, the Conservatives fell to 21% of the vote, down seven points.
In addition to being its record level in a YouGov survey, Labor’s 33-point lead is the highest number ever recorded in any Search Published since the late 1990s in the country.
Direct voter turnout away from the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats is the main reason for the standard leadership of the Labor Party today. The context has been in the midst of a very negative news cycle for the Conservative government, with the economic fallout from the hugely unpopular package announced on Friday. At the same time, the Labor Party enjoys greater coverage and exposure – including in populist policies such as the creation of a public energy company.
Add to that, analysts say, long-standing public frustration with the government’s handling of the cost of living and waning faith in the Conservative Party for handling the economy, all of which creates a toxic environment in government public opinion.
