The Portuguese coach was one of the participants in the video for ‘Mel Made Me Do It’, a theme song by one of the UK’s most respected rappers, Stormzy. The theme, released Thursday, marks a comeback for the artist who has gone three years without releasing any music.
Jose Mourinho, currently in charge of Italian football club Roma, has a cameo in the British rapper’s video, which also features artists such as Dave and Little Sims, Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt and members of Stormzy’s family.
One of the highlights of Mourinho’s iconic statements was “I prefer not to speak. If I talk, I’m in big trouble” (“I’ll stay silent. If I talk, I’ll be in big trouble”), uttered while leading Chelsea and included in the song.
😅 No way. CUT BIG JOSE MOURINHO!
