The new service started on Monday (19/09); A full-time pharmacist will be on site to take care and guide patients
In order to enhance access to medicines and increase the quality of care, the Department of Health in Bois on Monday (19/09) implemented a Specialized Care Service (SAE) pharmacy. The equipment is part of the municipal department’s initiative to provide treatment to people with various diseases who use medicines from the strategic component of the unified health system, which promotes the reduction of disease-related morbidity and mortality.
According to the Health Department’s Pharmaceutical Assistance Coordinator, Anna Elisa, the implementation of the SAE Pharmacy represents a major advance in the delivery of pharmaceutical services in the municipality. “With pharmaceutical care within the equipment, the patient will no longer need to travel to other municipalities to obtain strategic medicines, resulting in high-quality, effective and comprehensive patient care,” he said.
The new service will have a full-time pharmacist for care and guidance on treatments and active work alongside the multidisciplinary team of this health equipment. We are working to provide the best possible service to the citizens. When I presented the project to Mayor Marcia Bean, I received full support for the implementation of the new, and today, the pharmacy is already available to patients,” emphasized the Minister of Health, Alexander Prof.
The Specialized Assistance Service (SAE) is located in Boa on Rua Deocasta Aguilera, 215, in the Jardim Medina, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
