Brazilian singer Anitta took to Twitter to express the frustration she felt at Rock In Rio, claiming that artists who are not foreigners are not treated with respect.
“I will never step into this festival again,” were the words Anita wrote on her Twitter account, on Monday. And the singer blew into a long text what happened behind the scenes of the festival.
The most recent edition of the Rio rock festival was held in Rio de Janeiro and ended on the eleventh. And the day after the deadline, the funk singer took to her social media where she accused the production of not treating Brazilian singers with the same respect as foreigners.
Many fans still speculated that the cause of the indignation was an old argument that she had with singer Lyudmila, but Anita denied everything, saying that her professionalism does not conflict with her personal problems. About her colleague, she said that Lyudmila also deserves more respect from the organization, with a more prominent position in the event.
And in the note posted by the singer, the Brazilian confirmed that she only came at a rock concert in Rio Lisbon, which was held in June, out of respect for the fans who were waiting for her.
Despite her dismay, the artist believes that the funk will continue to recur on festival stages, not through her, but through various artists who share the same musical style.
