We’ve been talking about NVIDIA’s new generation RTX 40 (Ada Lovelace) cards for months! With the graphics card giant taking all this time to change the specifications of the first models, almost every week, in order to have a really interesting package in each alternative, and therefore, a range capable of taking advantage of what AMD is preparing its RDNA3 architecture.
Having said all this, unfortunately, it is now clear that we will welcome only one RTX 40 graphics card in 2022, the RTX 4090. NVIDIA wants to carefully enter the new generation, to continue selling the exaggerated stock it still has, of RTX 20 and RTX 30 GPUs.
A risky move, as AMD does not intend to do the same! Is it a shot in the foot by NVIDIA? Well, that doesn’t matter now… After all, the RTX 4090 is finally in production!
Make way for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090! The high-end Ada Lovelace panel (5nm) arrives in September!
Therefore, mass production of the RTX 4090 began on August 16th! We’re talking about what should be the most powerful alternative to NVIDIA for the new generation, at least initially, which should obviously hit the shelves with 24GB of GDDR6X memory, 3 DP 2.0 outputs, and an HDMI 2.1 output.
Unfortunately, apart from what we’ve already mentioned, we don’t have any further news about the specs. Just feeling that means a release that’s probably the most interesting for the average consumer, the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070, sometime in the first or second quarter of 2023.
Also, what do you think of all this? Want an RTX 4070 or 4080 in 2022? You can get the horse out of the rain! Either buy the RTX 4090, or wait until AMD releases something interesting.
