More than a decade after the turbulent divorce of Carla Baia and Joao Pinto, the relationship between the two is going through a phase of great harmony. The topic was taken up on TVI on the afternoon of Wednesday, 17th, in an intimate conversation between PR and Manuel Luís Goucha.
The former couple broke up when their two children – Tiago and Diana – were aged 15 and 13, a stage that Carla Baia recalls with great suffering: “I had depression for three years. Do you know who was there? My parents who gave up everything and came to Lisbon. When they felt that the calf was able to fly on its own again, they left for their home.”.
In response to a question about “how is the relationship with the father of the sons nowadays”, the businesswoman said: “Life is wonderful. Life puts everything in its rightful place, but it is when it wants it, not when we want it. The relationship with the father of my children is excellent, we all live as a family, and I agree very well with Angela [Galvão], his wife. Everything is just fine”.
It is reported that Carla Baia and Joao Pinto were 16-year-old parents who separated in 2003. The divorce process, which took a long time due to a dispute over assets, ended in 2008.
