The Journey of New Smiles runs through July 26, with services to residents at CIC and Vila Capanema. The Solidarity Project provides guidance on oral health for the population of Curitiba. Established in 2016, this initiative has already brought smiles back to people across the country with the help of the Expedition Travel Working Group, in partnership with volunteer professionals from the cities visited. Up to 22 people can be seen per day in the two offices installed inside a trailer set up for work.
In all, more than 5,000 patients and 200 volunteers have already participated in the event, which covered more than 11,000 kilometers across 30 cities in the country. Providing details of the procedure is Neodent’s dentist and CSR coordinator, Joao Pesquinini.
Those interested in receiving dental advice should make appointments after completing initial registration – by phone or WhatsApp, at (41) 99166-3504, online or in person – and submit their ID and CPF. Then, specialists will bring them in for an evaluation and guidance on oral health and other treatments, such as dental implants. Minors may receive care provided that they are accompanied by their guardian.
