The Welshman has been officially appointed as a reinforcement for the California team
Gareth Bale had already announced the change on Saturday, but it was only this afternoon that Los Angeles Football Club announced it. The Welshman has officially become a Major League Soccer player, with whom he has signed a contract valid for the next twelve months and an option for another year. According to the statement, Bale signs a “Targeted Allocation Money (TAM)” bond, which will allow him to earn 1.5 million euros annually. To close this contract, Los Angeles had to pay Inter Miami nearly €71,000, with the Florida side keeping the player’s rights if he chooses to play in the tournament – through a “priority-discovery” mechanism – which he can understand in this private job.

“I am very excited about this move to LA. It is the right place for me and my family at the right time in my career. I can’t wait to start working with the team and prepare to win more titles in Los Angeles,” said the 33-year-old Welshman, who has left Real Madrid at the end of this season to MLS.
