Donna Gallacher, 40, of Britain, has been living without her pet cat since 2012, when the animal went missing from her home in Weymouth, Dorset, England. She did not expect Chubby to be found 400 km away after ten years.
The owner has been working tirelessly to raise the puppy since he was a puppy. Over the years, he has published ads in local newspapers, distributed flyers and is constantly updating social media posts.
“I updated, shared and have been doing it for years,” Donna told the British tabloid Mirror.
Donna is going to stop finding the cat when she is surprised by a call. The Manchester veterinarian called to announce that Chubby had been found earlier in the month in Wigan, in the north of England.
Brit says the cat was found at a school by a woman who realized the animal was unwell. “He’s very neglected. He’s full of blaze, skin and bones, so he can not defend himself,” says Donna.
He says the cat is happy to know that Chubby is coming home and that it was a “wonderful” moment. “Ever since he realized he was safe, he has spread and felt at home. He loves life.”
The British still say the animal will make up for lost years. “He will be a pet and will live his years in peace and comfort.”
