In continuation of the influenza vaccination procedures, the Health Department announced, next Monday (16), that the influenza vaccination campaign will be available for a new group.
This time, the target audience includes truck drivers, urban and long-distance general road transport workers, port workers, security and rescue forces, and the armed forces; Prison staff, residents deprived of liberty, adolescents and young adults under socio-educational measures.
To get vaccinated, simply go to the UBS (Basic Health Unit) closest to your place of residence, Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 15:30.
Importance
- Persons with disabilities and comorbidities need proof through reports, exams and/or prescriptions;
- Influenza vaccine can be given in conjunction with other vaccines, including the Covid-19 vaccine for the population from 12 years of age in the national vaccination schedule and also with other medicines;
- For children aged 5 to 11 years, who are included in the priority group for influenza vaccination, who attend a basic health unit and have not yet been vaccinated against Covid-19, the Covid-19 vaccine should be given. Influenza vaccination is scheduled, observing the minimum time period of 15 days.
