The Department of Health of the Federal District (SES-DF) has decided to rescind the February 8 ordinance on the Notice of Opening Waiver of Tender for the Contracting of 100 Beds Covid-19 for Military Police Hospital. Action posted in Official Gazette of the Federal District (DODF) This Tuesday (3/5).
In response to a question about the reason for making the decision, shortly after the Board of Auditors of the DF (TCDF) approved the bids for the beds, the ministry indicated that the rental of 60 ICU beds for adults and 40 beds for the dispensary in order to fight covid has become -19 in the Federal Capital is a “regular process” and, consequently, emergency family rental has become ineffective.

The family rental has become the subject of questioning in the Federal Court of Auditors (TCDF), which has even indicated there were irregularities in the bid, such as overpricing, as well as questions about the relationship between the two companies involved in the bidding. However, the file made clear the points that had been made of the members of the court, which released the progress of the testimony.
Even DF Minister of Health, Manuel Paviadash, said at a press conference on March 31, that the ministry’s expectation was to have beds in the Military Police Hospital within 20 days. The letter came shortly after the court’s decision, which was subsequently published in the Official Gazette of the Federal District (DODF) on April 4.
“Everything is going well. On Wednesday (4/6), we will be ready to start hiring, and then, by talking to the company, we will be able to provide the family (to the public),” the minister assured Al-Asr.
