Russia continues to face difficulties in strategic coordination in Ukraine and its air support is inconsistent, according to information released by the British Secret Service this Saturday.
A report by the British Ministry of Defense states that Russia hopes to fix the problems that have limited its invasion by geographically concentrating its combat capabilities, reducing supply lines and facilitating command and control.
Russia has been forced to consolidate its failing units in northwestern Ukraine, many of which could be morally weakened, the report added.
Tactical Coordination Issues Russia has failed to make full use of its combat capability, the report emphasizes, despite some local improvements.
Russia launched a military offensive in Ukraine on February 24 that killed about 3,000 civilians, and the UN warns that the actual number could be much higher.
The military offensive left more than 12 million people dead, more than 5.4 million of whom fled the country, according to the latest UN data.
The Russian invasion was generally condemned by the international community, which responded by sending arms to Ukraine and strengthening economic and political sanctions on Moscow.
