The short YouTube channel is preparing to compensate creators
The Youtube Ad testing has started on Youtube shorts, which are short videos displayed vertically. This is a copy of tik tok and Instagram Reels… which in turn copied TikTok.

YouTube saw this as an alternative to ads to reward creators, while the group created a scalable, long-term monetization program for content creators.
