Apple released the second beta version of iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 to the general public who make up its testing program. Without major changes, the update improves upon previous additions to the Apple Pay Cash app, now with Request and Send buttons. Beta updates are also coming to tvOS 15.5 and watchOS 8.6.
There is nothing significant in this beta update for iPhone, which confirms that iOS 15.5 will not be a huge release for the ecosystem. In addition to the new Apple Pay Cash buttons, there are more options for the Apple Card in the Wallet Settings menu.
Another change to the iTunes Pass, now called the “Apple Account Card” in the Wallet app. The rebranding process was spotted in the code changes released in the first beta.
The classic apple is still asleep
At the moment, there is no sign of an Apple Classical. Seemingly a complement to Apple’s traditional music, Classic will be fully customized to play classical music, with custom options and a unique interface.
iOS 15.5 beta 2 is still new, so testers can find more news. It remains to be aware of the additions that are discovered in the coming days.
