Thus, Blizzard Entertainment revealed that its latest release, Diablo II: Resurrected, has already managed to sell more than 5 million copies sold. The feat was accomplished in just six months, once the game arrived on September 23, 2021.
We remind you that Blizzard Entertainment is part of the Activision Blizzard Company. As such, he is also currently in Microsoft's acquisition. The purchase of this originator is expected to be completed before June 2023, and the transaction value is estimated at approximately 60 billion euros.
For those unfamiliar, Diablo II: Resurrected is a modified version of the classic action RPG Diablo® II. The challenge is to track down the mysterious Dark Wanderer and fight the inhabitants of Hell while uncovering the fates of Ultimate Evils, Diablo, Mephisto and Baal. The game includes several specifications such as:
- Remastered graphics: monsters, heroes, items, spells, all resurrected
- An epic story divided into five acts
