Google has quietly released a free iOS app to help you easily transfer data from iPhone to Android device, supposedly at 9to5Google. The Switch To Android app works wirelessly, which means you won’t have to worry about connecting the two phones together with a single cable.
“The Google Switch to Android app helps you transfer the most important types of data — photos, videos, contacts, and calendar events — quickly and securely — to a new Android device without cumbersome cables,” according to the app description. This list doesn’t include messages, so it seems the app won’t be able to transfer those messages, although it does instruct you on how to disable iMessage so you don’t miss text messages from friends and family.
