The flu vaccination starts at 9 am this Monday in Santos

Due to the need to end dose delivery at some jobs, the influenza vaccination in Santos will exceptionally begin at 9 a.m. Monday (28).

As of seven in the morning, vaccinations will be distributed to units that have not received immunization. The Jabaquara dispensary will start vaccination at 10 am, as it was hit by water from the torrential rain that hit the city on Sunday (27)..

The influenza vaccination campaign is aimed at elderly people aged 80 and over, and is available at 27 clinics and three settlement centers in Santos, until 4 pm. The trivalent influenza vaccine, meaning that it protects against three strains of influenza virus, is the most prevalent in recent months: influenza A H1N1, Influenza A H3N2, and Influenza B.

According to the state government, people over the age of 12 no longer need to wait for an interval to receive the flu and covid-19 vaccines, but can even take them on the same day.
