Actor and director Sean Penn, who is in Poland to shoot a documentary about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, having already been in the occupied country, told CNN that he would “publicly dissolve” the two Oscars if President Volodymyr Zelensky was not allowed to speak during the ceremony.
a Director explained He does not know whether the Ukrainian president will speak or not, indicating that the main question will be whether Zelensky had or did not have, if he wished, an important platform for talking about the situation in Ukraine..
If the Academy decides not to support the leaders of Ukraine, who are taking bullets and bombs for us, as well as the Ukrainian children who are trying to protect them, then I believe that each of these people and every moment in that decision will be the most outrageous in the history of Hollywood,” the actor told CNN.
