Expo 2020 Dubai exceeded 5.5 million visits in two months
The total number of Expo 2020 Dubai visits reached 5,663,960 since its opening on October 1st until the last Sunday, December 5th. In November, more than a quarter of visitors were from outside the UAE.
“In November, 28% of visitors came from outside the UAE, specifically India, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia and the UK,” a statement read.
“Six out of ten visitors (57%) now have an Expo season ticket, with the number of repeat visitors in the first two months reaching 1.2 million,” he adds.
Expo 2020 also received visits from about 250,000 students from UAE schools and 5,383 government leaders, including ministers, presidents, prime ministers and heads of state.
The press release highlights that, until the end of December, a new Dh95 Expo Festival Card will be available, which guarantees access to Christmas celebrations and major events such as the Alicia Keys show at Al Wasl Plaza on December 10, and the composer and musician’s performance. Rahman on December 22 and Broadway star Lea Salonga on December 25.”
