The remaining one year of cinema at Cahiers du Cinéma includes many films that can still be seen on the big screen in Portugal.
The films “Liberty French Chronicles, Kansas Evening Sun” by Wes Anderson (6), “The Card Counter – The Player” by Paul Schrader (9) and “Benedetta” by Paul Verhoeven (10) are films that can be seen in Portuguese cinemas and are part of Top 10 of the best 2021 by critics of the prestigious and influential French publication.
Founded by André Bazin and where François Truffaut, Jean-Luc Godard, Jacques Rivette and Olivier Assayas have written critical talents in the history of cinema, Cahirs du Cinema prefers to produce alternative circuits and is immune to awards season and major Hollywood productions.
