NS The disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa, once one of the most powerful and influential union leaders in the United States, is one of the country’s biggest mysteries over the past 50 years. Several investigations have already been carried out to find Hoffa’s body which did not work and there are many rumors about the whereabouts of her body.
According to the New York Times, the FBI conducted new searches to find Jimmy Hoffa’s body last month after Frank Capola’s deathbed confession.
Capola, who worked in a landfill, died in March of last year, but not before he told a friend that his father had confessed to him that a criminal group had ordered him to bury Jimmy Hoffa’s body in a landfill.
The FBI was informed of this confession and its agents searched a former landfill in New Jersey on October 25 and 26. An FBI spokesman told The Times that the data obtained in these searches is now being analyzed.
During his time at the head of the International Federation of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hoffa was accused of links to the mafia and organized crime.
After he was arrested and left commanding the Teamsters, his power waned greatly and his relationship with New Jersey gang boss Anthony Provenzano deteriorated dramatically.
Jimmy Hoffa disappeared on July 30, 1975 and was never seen again. Hoffa traveled that day to Michigan to meet with Provenzano, which is why his disappearance has been linked to the gang for nearly five decades.
