The Meinedo health unit will resume normal work from Monday due to the “significant decrease in the number of covid-19 cases” in the region. Next Monday, registered users of Polo de Meinedo, who have temporarily received healthcare in Polo de Caide, can turn to its unit.
“As we continue to experience a period of transition, with a gradual decrease in the mobilization of medical resources in the coming weeks and with the aim of ensuring the future stability of the Meinedo Health Unit, we ask for the best understanding of users during this period, it is certain that this service will remain open and continue to be dedicated to providing the best healthcare for this category of the population,” as stated in a statement sent by the group of health centers (ACeS) from the northern valley of Sousse.
In the note, ACeS also left recommendations on contacting the health unit, which will be open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM:
- Whenever possible, the email (e-mail) contact should be used for any situation the user needs to resolve with their health unit, and a contact from the person or third party authorized to resolve the situation should always be included. Your name, as well as adding identifying information (name and NHS user number) and specifying the reason for the user’s connection.
- When e-mail (e-mail) cannot be used at all or if the subject cannot be disclosed/processed in this way, the mobile contact provided by the health unit may be used.
- The landline must be reserved for open consultation requests, day consultation or acute health conditions.
