People who don’t have this device can join meetings using a video call.

For the full virtual reality experience, users need a Facebook account.

Zuckerberg hopes this will be a new way for people to use the Internet.
Virtual reality never took hold, even during confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic, when remote work became a “new standard” for millions of workers and made apps like video conferencing platform Zoom a name every day.
