Debian is one of the most widely used Linux systems for those looking for long-term stability, and this has been proven perfectly in the cycles between releases of new releases. Moreover, from this distribution there are also many other popular distributions – as one of the examples, Ubuntu is based on Debian.
Finally today marks a new stage, with the arrival of the new Debian 11. The new version of the system, nicknamed “Bullseye”, is already available for download, and the list of changes made is quite extensive. When we refer to “a lot”, the term is still slight, considering that this release has one of the biggest lists of change ever.
In total, there are 11,294 new packages on the system, among 42,821 others that have been updated. These numbers show how different the changes are from version 10 to 11. Among some of the changes are now native support for exFAT and even improvements in terms of the printing system.
