Last year, Xbox produced a limited selection of Pride consoles and shared them with LGBTQIA+ gamers and creators around the world. While the response to the console has been positive, many have urged Xbox to make it available globally. It seems that your prayers have been answered.
On June 1, in a post on Xbox Wire, Xbox announced the new customizable Xbox Pride console, which brings together the flags of 34 communities in an amazing, interwoven way to celebrate the unity and strength of the many LGBTQIA+ communities.
This new console will be available for purchase through the Xbox Design Lab starting June 9 and all year long.
But there's more news to come, so the new Xbox Pride controller isn't the only way Xbox is celebrating LGBQTIA+ communities during Pride Month. It was also revealed that:
