This webinar aims to highlight the critical need to apply lessons learned from HEARTS to close implementation gaps and improve the detection, treatment and control of diabetes and hypertension in primary health care.

Hearts in the Americas, is the PAHO’s flagship initiative for the control of hypertension and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD) through a standardized treatment protocol for hypertension and a clinical pathway that integrates core components related to assessment and management of cardiovascular risk, while promoting the integration of diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
