Round turn
Well known young Swedish woman Greta Dunberg is not alone and thousands of young people like her are climate enthusiasts. In the city of Steele, 17-year-old high school student and climate activist Marina Quino de Zoza Lima was elected representative of Brazil at the 16th Youth Conference on Climate Change (COY16). Marina also participates in the ‘Future Brazil for Fridays’ delegation with 14 young people from all over the country at the 26th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP26). Events will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, UK from 28 October to 12 November 2021.
Marina announced her participation in the international event and sought the support of the Movement for Ethics in Politics (MEP). “I know MEP has an ecological footprint in the area, and I’m collecting data from the movement. Well, I’m going to the event and my colleagues are asking for financial support, and for that we need the support of all,” the student declared. Financial aid is the realization of participation “, the young student concluded.
How to support
Maria recalled looking for resources to cover the cost of the trip. “You or your company can invest any amount for this reason. All proof of expenses will be given to the supporters and they will post their logos on social media,” the student asked. He also recalled that the submitted budget represents a representative.
