United kingdom. The discussion stopped after the power outage for the live broadcaster
Rishi Sunak, the former finance minister, and Liz Truss, the foreign secretary, were discussing on Britain’s Talk TV when a loud sound was heard, which made Tuss, who was speaking at that moment, look frightened. He says, “Oh my God.”
A televised debate in the UK between candidates to succeed Boris Johnson was halted on Tuesday after the moderator fainted live.
Rishi Sunak, the former finance minister, and Liz Truss, the foreign secretary, were discussing on Britain’s Talk TV when a loud sound was heard, which made Tuss, who was speaking at that moment, look frightened. He says, “Oh my God.”
Subsequently, television clarified in a statement that presenter Kate McCann “fainted on the air tonight, and while she is fine, the medical advice was that we should not continue the discussion.”
Both politicians were more relaxed, lamenting that the debate should have been left in the middle and expressing happiness that the presenter is recovering.
