OhAccording to reports in the UK last Thursday, international travelers with a full immunization schedule traveling to the UK will be able to opt for the quick test, instead of the PCR test until October 24th. Government, The Guardian quoted.
Those with a complete immunization schedule can get a quick test the day they arrive in the country or the next day. This measure also applies to returnees to the UK.
The British Department of Health and Social Welfare has indicated that tests could be scheduled from October 22. The recipient of a positive result must be confirmed by a PCR test and comply with the self-isolation period.
Eligible travelers are fully vaccinated from more than 100 countries and territories on the British ‘Green List’, including Brazil, Ghana, Hong Kong, China, India, Pakistan, South Africa and Turkey.
Keep in mind that unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated travelers must undergo two PCR tests within the first eight days after arrival and complete a 10-day isolation period.
‘Yellow List’ travelers coming to the UK from the country and have already been fully vaccinated against Govt-19 must undergo two screening tests before and after departure and be exempted from isolation.
