Lamborghini announces the latest version of the legendary Aventador, available in two body versions, coupe and roadster. Ultimae production will be numbered and identified, and is aimed at collectors.
a Lamborghini Presented the final version of the super sports car Aventador, which received the designation LP 780-4 Ultimae, and will be produced in numbered series, limited to 350 units in the coupe and 250 units in the roadster.
According to the Sant´Agata Bolognese brand, the Aventador LP 780-4 combines the performance characteristics of the Aventador SVJ with the elegance of Aventador S combines design and dynamism in an exclusive collector’s piece.
The Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae gets a 6.5-liter V12 engine “Longitudinale Posteriore (LP) that puts out 780 horses, 40 horses more than the Aventador S and 10 horses more than the V Aventador SVJ. Power is transmitted to the wheels via a permanent all-wheel drive system.
Lamborghini says the LP 780-4 Ultimae is the result of developments in the Aventador over the past ten years, including knowledge of the SVJ powertrain, which set the record for the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in July 2018, the technical advances of a supercar and the luxury of the Model S and the purity of the concept. Mono and carbon fiber body
The Aventador LP 780-4’s carbon-fiber monocoque made it possible to reduce the weight to just 1,550 kg. The coupe version, which weighs 25 kg less than the Aventador S, offers the same weight / power ratio as the SVJ, 1.98 kg / hp, hitting 0-100 km / h in 2.8 seconds and reaching a speed of 355 km / h, with 720 Nm of maximum torque at 6750 rpm.
The VVT (Variable Valve Timing) and VIS (Variable Intake System) systems have been optimized to improve the torque curve. The powerful CCB braking system makes it possible to install from 100 km / h in just 30 metres.
Lateral control is improved by the four-wheel steering, which was introduced in Aventador S, ensuring agility at low and medium speeds, and increased stability at high speeds.

The Lamborghini Steering Dynamics Steering (LDS) on the front axle has been calibrated to provide instant connectivity and better input in tighter corners, while adapting to interact with the active steering on the rear axle: independent actuators respond in five milliseconds to movements of the driver at the wheel, allowing time adjustment Actual steering angles, which enhances cornering behavioral characteristics.

Two options for the body

Rear for the visible carbon fiber diffuser: outstanding performance and purity of design in perfect harmony. The concrete exterior paint, in the colors Grigio Acheso and Grigio Teca, is repeated on the interior: the basic materials, leather and Alcantara in black, have gray stitching and finishes that blend in with the bodywork, with the inclusion of the letter “Y” in Black Alcantara on the banks. An optional repeating, laser-cut “Y” model with contrasting background color, located on the banks and front panel, features the Ultimae Special Edition.
The seat on the LP 780-4 from the Aventador S comes with “Ultimae” embroidered on the inner side of the outer side to support the seat backs, while the A-pillar on the driver’s side bears the inscription 001 from 350/250, referring to each unit number of the Edition Limited.
In contrast, the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Roadster was released in Blu Tawaret and Blu Nethuns colors, with carbon fiber roof panels in high-gloss black.
Refined Interior
The environment for the driver and passenger is also improved: the TFT digital instrument panel displays customizable driving modes and controls vehicle connectivity.
An Apple CarPlay link manages voice assistant-controlled connectivity and entertainment functions, while Lamborghini’s telemetry system is available as an option for those who want to honor the last Aventador on the track.
