Headlining an exciting card at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena on Saturday, John Blachovich and Magomed Angalev battled for the vacant light heavyweight title in the main event of UFC 282.
Former champion Blachowicz and rising contender Ankalaev were first set to face each other in the co-main event, with titleholder Jiri Prochaska defending the belt against Glover Teixeira – six months later.
But injury led to Proszaka vacating the title in November, and Blachowicz v Ankalev will now be gold.
In the new co-main event, Liverpool star Paddy Pimplett takes on Jared Gordon at lightweight, after fellow Scouser Darren Till takes on Tricus du Plessis at middleweight.
Here’s everything you need to know.
